We are pleased to announce that the Protestant Theological Faculty of the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University Bonn will award Canon Professor Mark D. Chapman (Oxford/Cuddesdon) an honorary doctorate in theology on November 5th, 2021 (at 2 p.m.). Mark Chapman is among his other important functions also vice-chair of the Ecclesiological Investigations Network.
With this, the faculty honors in particular the great and long-term commitment of Prof. Chapman in the partnership between the Evangelical Theological Faculty of the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University Bonn and the Theological and Religious Studies Faculty of the University of Oxford, as well as his contribution to ecumenical theology.
